Taiwan-based home appliance maker Tatung will be debuting its latest 50 and 42-inch PDP (plasma display panel) TVs at CES. The 50-inch PDP TV (P50BSAT) is designed with a resolution of 1366x768 with a peak brightness of 1300cd/m2 and a contrast ratio of 10,000:1. The 42-inch model (P42HSAT) features a resolution of 1024x768, a peak brightness of 1100 cd/m2 and contrast ratio of 10,000:1.
