Sanyo to produce and sell LCD RPTVs in China next spring

Aiming at the hotel and conference room market in China, Sanyo Electric plans to begin producing HTPS (high-temperature poly-silicon) LCD-based rear-projection TVs (RPTVs) in southern China next April, reported the Nikkei Sangyo Shimbun.
