Optoma recently rolled out its HD803 home theater projector in Taiwan.
The HD803 features a 1080p DLP DMD chipset from Texas Instruments, an 8,000:1 contrast ratio with Optoma's proprietary ImageAI-II technology and a brightness of 1,200 ANSI lumens.
The projector has a variable iris control which allows the user to select the right trade-off between lumen output and black level for the given screen size and room environment.
The projector carries a price tag of NT$79,990(US$2,458).
