ViewSonic has introduced a 42-inch commercial display, the CD4230, with an ultra-thin bezel of 13.77mm.
The CD4230 has high brightness of 500 nits and 1,500:1 contrast ratio, which provides clear images suitable for outdoor use. It is also RS-232 daisy-chain capable, contains DVI and VGA ports, is VESA-mount compliant with carrying handles and can facilitate DDC / CI communication between a PC and monitor for management, diagnostics and remote control.
The CD4230 will be available in the second quarter of 2009 for US$1,999 MSRP.
