Acer has unveiled its Predator 15 gaming notebooks, powered by Intel's Skylake-based Core i7-6700HQ processor.
Select models feature Nvidia GeForce GTX980M graphics card, up to 32GB of DDR4 memory, enterprise level 512GB NVMe PCIe solid state drives. They also support full USB 3.1 Type-C standard to provide high-speed data transmission.
Acer Predator notebooks include Killer DoubleShot Pro, which allows Ethernet and Wi-Fi connections to work together. The Killer Network Manager determines the attributes of each link and determines which apps should run on each connection.
The Predator 15 notebook line includes models with 15.6-inch Full HD or Ultra HD (3,840 by 2,160) screens.
The Predator 15 features SoundPound 2.1, which includes two speakers and one subwoofer, for six watts of sound.
The Acer Predator 15, shipping with Windows 10, will be available in North America in November with prices starting at US$1,499.99.
