KSIA: South Korea’s chip industry down 41% in 2001, to grow 14.9% this year

According to statistics just released by the Korea Semiconductor Industry Association (KSIA), South Korea’s semiconductor industry output was valued at US$16.8 billion in 2001, down 41.1% from the previous year.
