India's phone production declines by 20%, worse than in 2022; brand inventory level reached 10 weeks

Industry sources stated that smartphone sales in India have continued to drop sharply in the past 6 months, which has resulted in an annual decrease of up to 20% in production from January to April 2023 for phone manufacturers.
