NEC LCD Technologies announced it will introduce a 4.3-inch amorphous silicon (a-Si), TFT LCD module (LCM) at SID (Society for Information Displays) 2006 to beheld in San Francisco from June 5-9.
The display employs WQVGA display technology and has a resolution of 480×272 pixels, a luminance of 350 cd/m2 and features a touch panel. It is aimed at next-generation portable display terminals such as PDA, photo viewer and GPS.
