Pioneer recently announced a 50-inch full high-definition (HD) PDP (plasma display panel) TV, along with new 50- and 42-inch XGA PDP TVs, in Taiwan, with shipments to commence later in October.
Priced at NT$34,900, the 50-inch full HD PDP TV is aimed at the high-end market. Pioneer aims to ship 100 units of the model annually, the company said.
