Seiko Epson's Taiwan subsidiary, Epson Taiwan Technology and Trading recently launched a full HD projector (EMP-TW2000) and the company aims to grab a 20% share of the full HD projector market in Taiwan in 2008, according to a Chinese-language company press release.
Epson cited data from International Data Corp (IDC) Taiwan, indicating that Epson led Taiwan's projector market in the fourth quarter of 2007 with a 25% share, and a 27% share in 2007, The company is looking to increase its market share to 30% in 2008, the press release added.
