The Wall Street Journal said STATS is in talks to buy ChipPAC for US$1.5 billion in stock

In a Feb 3 article, Dow Jones said Samsung's board approved investing 359.7 billion won to upgrade DRAM production technology at its Hwasung and Giheung facilities.

"Our machine will be ready at the same time as the other new consoles, but we're not sold on developing powerful microprocessors to create graphics that cannot even be viewed on existing televisions."
