Nichia files suits against LED makers in Korea and Taiwan

Japan's Nichia, the world's largest producer of white LEDs, said in a June 11 press release that it had recently filed a lawsuit against a Taiwanese and a South Korean LED maker, claiming that both companies violated Nichia's LED patent rights.
