Epson aims for 50% shipment growth for HTPS panels this year

Seiko Epson will begin mass production of its 1080p HTPS (high-temperature polysilicon) LCD projector panels (D5 series) in April, and the company aims to ship a total of 3.45 million HTPS panels in 2005, up 50% from last year, according to the company.
