China Unicom reported to buy three million CDMA handsets in 2006

China United Telecommunications (China Unicom), a leading mobile phone and fixed-line telecom services company in China, plans to purchase about three million CDMA handsets for three billion yuan (US$370 million) in 2006, according to market sources.
