Samsung expected to ship 4.5 million notebooks in 2009

Samsung Electronics shipped 1.09 million notebooks in the second quarter of 2009, and is expected to ship 4.5 million units for the year largely through cooperation with mobile telecom carriers, according to sources at component makers.
