China Unicom to procure over one million tablet PCs, develop own-brand smartphones, says president

China United Telecommunications (China Unicom), the only WCDMA operator in China, plans to procure more than one million tablet PCs and develop own-brand smartphone series, WoPhone, in 2011, according to company president Lu Yi-min.
