Pegatron 5G has announced a Memorandum of Understanding with Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE) at the India Mobile Congress 2024 to deliver innovative private network solutions that advance 5G and edge connectivity. This collaboration aims to transform how private networks are deployed across various industries.
Pegatron 5G's comprehensive suite of O-RAN-compliant solutions, including a diverse range of radios, servers, and networking products, provide vertically integrated manufacturing capabilities that meet the growing market demands.
HPE will enhance this offering with its Athonet-HPE technology HPE Aruba Networking Private 5G, a leading 5G core network private cellular solution based on technology acquired from Athonet that is designed to seamlessly deliver voice, video, and data services at the network edge bringing these services closer to customers.
Together, Pegatron 5G and HPE aim to enhance network infrastructure and scale services from existing enterprise deployments to 5G private networks. This collaboration aims to deliver robust private network solutions tailored to specific industry verticals, providing businesses with greater connectivity, security, and efficiency.
A dedicated team will drive the rollout of private networks in key regions, including Taiwan, India, Indonesia, the USA, and others. This team will work closely with HPE resources to deliver these advanced solutions to Pegatron 5G's enterprise customers while developing customized, productized solutions for various industry applications.
Additionally, the two companies will conduct joint proof-of-concept initiatives and live demonstrations to showcase the capabilities of their private network solutions, accelerating enterprise adoption.
