Gumstix, a maker of full-function miniature computers, announced on April 1 their Verdex motherboards with a Marvell PXA270 CPU offering USB host and CCD camera input.
Gumstix' fastest Verdex motherboard, the Verdex XL6P, comes with a 600 MHz PXA270 processor, 128MB RAM, 32MB flash and three on-board connectors for expansion board connectivity.
The Verdex motherboards are available with pricing beginning at US$129 and OEM pricing available below US$60 for orders of 1,000 units with reduced processor speed, memory, or options.
