TSMC, UMC plan to raise prices for mature processes in 2Q

Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Company (TSMC) and United Microelectronics Corporation (UMC) plan to again raise their foundry prices for 0.25-, 0.18- and some of their 0.15-micron process technologies in the second quarter, according to sources.
