Shipments of Taiwan’s large-size TFT LCDs only grew by a slight 5% sequentially to 40.31 million units in the fourth quarter of 2006, compared to the 19% and 16% sequential growth during the same periods in 2004 and 2005, respectively, mainly since demand for monitors was not as strong as expected.Table of contents
