Rexchip is now Elpida's consolidated subsidiary

Elpida Memory today announced that it has acquired a portion of the shares its strategic partner Powerchip Semiconductor Corporation (PSC) owned in Rexchip Electronics, a Taiwan-based manufacturing joint venture created by PSC and Elpida.
