Amtran revises upward LED-backlit TV shipments for 2010

Taiwan-based LCD TV maker Amtran Technology has revised upward its shipment target for LED-backlit TVs in 2010 to three million units from the one million units it projected earlier, according to company chairman Alpha Wu.
