Spansion, SMIC expand foundry agreement

Spansion and Semiconductor Manufacturing International Corporation (SMIC) will extend their current foundry arrangement to expand 65nm capacity and include the manufacture of Spansion's 45nm flash memory, the companies have jointly announced.
