Taiwan's small- to medium- size TFT LCD panel shipments declined in the first quarter of 2011 due to seasonal effect. Demand for panels used in first-tier vendors' handsets and digital still cameras (DSCs) both dropped in the first quarter, while demand in the China market was relatively stable.
