TSMC August sales up, UMC down

Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Company (TSMC) saw its August consolidated revenues increase 5.7% sequentially, while fellow foundry chipmaker United Microelectronics' (UMC) sales slipped 4.8% on month.
