Samsung announces 1Tb V-NAND memory

Samsung Electronics has announced a 1Tb vertical NAND (V-NAND) memory chip. The arrival of the chip in 2018 will enable 2TB of memory in a single V-NAND package by stacking 16 1Tb dies.
