Audix, a Taiwan-based component maker and distributor, has reported EPS of NT$4.17 (US$0.15) for the third quarter with consolidated revenues rising 12% sequentially to come to NT$1.84 billion.
Its net profit came to NT$208 million in the third quarter.
Thanks to robust orders from a US-based smartphone brand client as well as strong demand for car electronics systems, the company's component businesses and EMC certification services have continued to enjoy rising sales.
Audix saw strong profits from its voice coil motor (VCM) component business in the third quarter, while its revenues from connectors also picked up with its entry to the supply chains of US- and China-based smartphone brands.
Audix is now also pushing to expand its product lines to cover more sensor products and devices for the CV2X industry.
The lab of Audix's China-based subsidiary was also certified in July 2021 for performing inspections and certifications on consumer electronics in China and will expand its facilities for testing car-use electronics products.
The company is also certified in Japan and Taiwan for performing inspections and certifications on 5G handheld devices, Wi-Fi 6 and NB-IoT, and expects its 5G smartphone and wireless production RF certification services to begin contributing income in the near future.
