Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang made a special visit to the SK Hynix booth at Computex 2025, leaving messages of support and showing the close cooperative relationship between the two companies.
South Korean media outlet ET News reported that Huang left three messages on the high-bandwidth memory (HBM) display at the SK Hynix booth on May 20: "Go SK! You guys are doing great!" "One Team!" and "JHH loves SK Hynix."
After viewing SK Hynix's next-generation HBM4 sample, Huang remarked that it was "beautiful."
South Korean media interpreted Huang's visit to the booth as a public statement by Nvidia, emphasizing its close relationship with SK Hynix. The company displayed its HBM4 and 12-layer HBM3 chips next to the Nvidia Blackwell GB200 at the booth.
SK Hynix currently supplies HBM3E to Nvidia and is responsible for the highest number of HBM orders to Nvidia compared with other memory manufacturers. It is estimated that HBM4 samples will be mass-produced in the second half of 2025 and have reportedly already been provided to Nvidia.
