Bryan Chuang

Bryan Chuang, born in Hong Kong in 1972, is a senior reporter for DIGITIMES' technology policy news channel, primarily covering government ministries, public policy, and academia.

He entered the journalism industry in 1998, beginning his career at The Journalist magazine. In 2003, he joined DIGITIMES to cover telecommunications and software industries before moving to the Institute for Information Industry (III) in 2005, where he served as editor-in-chief of Information and Computer magazine, founded by former ROC statesman K. T. Li.

He has also contributed columns to publications affiliated with the Chung-Hua Institution for Economic Research and the Chinese National Federation of Industries. Returning to DIGITIMES in 2007, Chuang has focused on macroeconomics, industrial policy, investigative reporting, and commentary. He studied journalism at the World College of Journalism and Communications (Shih Hsin University (SHU)) and completed graduate-level studies in social and economic affairs at National Chengchi University.
