MIC: Taiwan 3Q handset shipments up 24% on-year

Taiwan-based handset makers shipped close to 10 million handsets in the third quarter, up 24% year-on-year and 19.7% sequentially, the Taiwan-based Market Intelligence Center (MIC) said yesterday.
