Quanta acquires 17% stake in Alpha Networks, aims to develop digital home products

Taiwan notebook leader Quanta Computer announced yesterday that it has acquired 42.5 million shares, or a 17% stake, in WLAN solution provider Alpha Networks for NT$1.062 billion.
