Winbond Electronics is offering a rosy outlook for its 1T pseudo SRAM (PSRAM) production, claiming that quarterly wafer-starts rocketed to 50,000 8-inch equivalent wafers in the second quarter, up from 15,000 in the first quarter, according the company.
