LPL mulls Europe LCM factory; will Taiwan makers follow suit?

By building an LCD module (LCM) plant in Eastern Europe, LG.Philips LCD aims to save production costs amid a 5% tariff in Europe on imported LCMs. Market sources are now speculating that Taiwan-based panel makers may follow suit.
