Price war over 37-inch LCD TVs heats up in Taiwan market

Sharp Taiwan has lowered prices for its 37-inch LCD TV 17% to NT$99,000 (US$3,043), down from NT$119,000 (US$3,669) and other companies will follow suit, according to a report in today’s Chinese-language Commercial Times.
