Amtran enjoys strong sales in 1Q on flat-panel TV business

Despite the first quarter normally being a slow season, Taiwan-based Amtran Technology recently reported that its quarterly consolidated revenues rose nearly 33.8% sequentially and 191% on-year to NT$5.68 billion last quarter, according to the company.
