Wah Hong-GMK Technology merger to take effect on July 1

The merger between Taiwan-based LCD optical film/sheet maker Wah Hong Industrial and Taiwan-based GMK Technology will become effective on July 1, 2006 instead of the originally scheduled July 16, according to Wah Hong.
