SPI lands orders of power supplies for LED-based LCD TVs

LCD TV power supply specialist SPI Electronic has developed power supplies for LCD TVs with LED backlight technology and began volume shipments to unspecified panel makers, according to the Chinese-language Economic Daily News (EDN).
