Large-size BLU market to exceed US$10 billion in 2006, says DisplayBank

The market value for large-size backlight units (BLUs) will surge 38% from US$7.5 billion in 2005 to US$10.4 billion in 2006 and will grow 19% each year through 2009, reaching US$15 billion by 2009, according to research firm DisplayBank.
