E-Ten and Arima Communications to jointly develop 3G and 3.5G smartphones

Taiwan-based own-brand handset vendor E-Ten Information Systems and ODM handset maker Arima Communications will sign a cooperation agreement to develop EMP (Ericsson Mobile Platform)-based 3G and 3.5G smartphones, the companies jointly announced last week.
