AUO expects new shipment record in August for its small- to medium-size LCD panels

CT Liu, VP and general manager of consumer product display business group at AU Optronics (AUO) indicated that the company's small- to medium-size LCD panel shipments in August are expected to exceed July's record shipments of 17.7 million units.
