Alcatel-Lucent likely to release GPON ONT orders to Taiwan makers, say sources

Alcatel-Lucent is in talks with a number of Taiwan-based network equipment makers for OEM production of GPON (gigabit passive optical networking) ONT (optical network terminal) products in 2010, according to industry sources in Taiwan.
