Taiwan market: Chunghwa Telecom to launch GPON-based triple play services in 3Q11

Taiwan-based carrier Chunghwa Telecom (CHT) is establishing GPONs (gigabit passive optical networks) through cooperation with Alcatel-Lucent for launching triple play services in third-quarter 2011, according to industry sources.
