Semiconductor sales slip in June, says SIA

Worldwide sales of semiconductors for June 2011 were US$24.7 billion, down 1.5% on month and 0.5% on year, according to the Semiconductor Industry Association (SIA). Sales in the second quarter decreased 2% compared to the prior quarter.
