Taiwan-based solar cell maker quote higher than China-based makers

Taiwan-based makers of solar cells currently quote US$0.45-0.5/W for energy conversion rates of 16.8-17.0%, while China-based makers offer lower prices of US$0.41-0.42/W in order to compete for orders, according to industry sources.
