Global chip sales rise 9.6% in October, says SIA

Worldwide sales of semiconductors for October 2014 reached US$29.7 billion, an increase of 9.6% from a year ago when sales were US$27.1 billion, according to SIA. Compared to the US$29.2 billion posted in September, October sales represented a 1.5% growth.
