China-based vendor Xiaomi Technology sold 61.1 million smartphones in 2014, 3.27 times the sales volume in 2013, to bring in sales revenues of CNY74.3 billion (US$12.0 billion), hiking on year by over 100%, according to company chairman and CEO Lei Jun.
