Xiaomi saw strong growth in Taiwan in 2024, achieving double-digit expansion. The company's shipments of high-end smartphones surged by 30% compared to the previous year, while wearable devices also posted nearly 20% growth year over year.

Looking ahead to 2025, Xiaomi is focusing on expanding sales of tablets and ultra-thin TVs. In the smartphone segment, the company aims to sustain momentum by strengthening its high-end market presence, enhancing AI capabilities, upgrading hardware, and optimizing its mobile ecosystem. With these strategic initiatives, Xiaomi hopes to deliver even stronger performances this year.

The company recently introduced its latest flagship, the Xiaomi 15 series, featuring significant upgrades in camera performance, battery life, and AI-driven functionalities. Despite these improvements, Xiaomi has opted to maintain the same pricing as its previous models.

Enhanced ecosystem integration

For the first time, the Xiaomi 15 series comes equipped with the new HyperOS 2 platform, integrating Xiaomi's HyperCore, HyperConnect, and HyperAI technologies. These advancements create seamless connectivity between smartphones, tablets, PCs, and AIoT devices, providing users with a smoother and more unified experience.

Expanding product portfolio

In addition to the flagship smartphone, Xiaomi also launched a range of new AIoT products, including tablets, smartwatches, wireless earbuds, and power banks, further expanding its smart device portfolio.

Leadership changes signal ambitious plans

Meanwhile, Xiaomi Taiwan is undergoing a leadership transition, signaling an even more ambitious approach to its operations in 2025. As a series of new products releases, the company is poised to challenge mid-range smartphone competitors Oppo, Vivo, and Samsung Electronics, potentially impacting their market share.
