TSMC has a leading market share in the semiconductor manufacturing market and is one of the few providers of technology process nodes under 10nm. The company has subsidiaries or liaison offices in North America, Europe, Japan, China, South Korea, and India. TSMC's wafer production is mainly situated in Taiwan. It also has fabrication plants for 12-inch and 8-inch wafers in China and the USA. The company provides backend packaging and testing services too.
