CMO chooses Corning over Asahi for 5.5G glass substrates

Instead of choosing to source glass substrates from its main supplier Asahi Glass, Chi Mei Optoelectronics (CMO) signed a contract yesterday with Corning to ensure a sufficient supply of substrates for its 5.5-generation (5.5G) panels.
