Corning to increase investment in South Korea, but new rivals also eye market

Corning announced February 2 (in the US) that it plans to invest an additional US$75 million in Samsung Corning Precision Glass (SCP), the equity venture jointly owned by Corning and Samsung Electronics (50% each).
